How we deliver your Scilly flowers
All our flowers are sent by 1st class Royal Mail and the price includes delivery to any UK postcode.
The majority of orders arrive the day after posting but we can’t guarantee a specific delivery day or time, This is why we say to expect your flowers to arrive within 1-2 days of the delivery date you select.
We can deliver to any UK postal address including Northern Ireland and non-mainland addresses but we're unable to deliver to PO boxes or BFPO addresses. We are also unable to deliver overseas.
Deliveries in December
Royal Mail is very busy in December and delivery can take longer so December delivery dates are only approximate.
All our flowers are guaranteed
If you ever have a problem with our service let us know as soon as possible so we can put things right.
We don't normally send flowers....
.....over weekends and bank holidays because we want your flowers to be as fresh as possible. This is why some days are blanked out on the calendar. But during busy periods in December the Royal Mail work over the weekends so delivery date options might reflect this.
How do we send your flowers?
Your flowers will be freshly picked, packed and then posted to the mainland by 1st Class Royal Mail. They are transported to the mainland by plane or by ship after which they join the mainland post service.
Do you send overseas?
Sorry, no. We can only send to UK addresses (including the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man).
When will my flowers arrive?
Your flowers will arrive within 1-2 days of the delivery date you have chosen. Most flowers arrive the day after they're posted but we can't guarantee this. In the run up to Christmas, Royal Mail are particularly busy and delivery may take a little longer. For this reason December delivery dates are to be treated as approximate.
What if travel links to Scilly are disrupted?
Due to our remote location, delays occasionally occur, normally due to weather. We plan ahead and work closely with the transport providers to minimise the impact of any travel disruption but this is why we don't guarantee a specific delivery day. The flowers we send are robust and we have over 30yrs of experience of sending flowers by post. Please also remember that all our flowers are guaranteed.
What happens if no one is home?
All our boxes are clearly labelled, ‘Fresh flowers please leave’. The postman makes the final decision to leave them or not. In the vast majority of cases flowers are left in a safe place. Don't forget all our flowers are guaranteed.
When do I need to order by?
We post flowers from our farm on Monday to Thursday. Normally we need to receive an order by 12 noon to post it out the same day. Occasionally, normally due to weather or demand, we might have to stop taking orders earlier than noon. At busy times, such as Christmas and Mother's Day, our posting pattern changes so you might find some delivery dates blocked in the calendar. We recommend that you place any orders for December and Mother's Day well in advance.
How much do you charge for postage?
All of our prices include postage and packaging so the price you see is all you have to pay.
Can I make a change to my order?
We will always do our best to make any changes you need but once we have printed the delivery label this is not always possible. Most of the time the delivery labels are printed the day before the flowers are posted but at busy times, such as Christmas, it can be up to 3 or 4 days in advance.
What if I don't have the full address?
To enable us to deliver your flowers we do need an accurate address including the correct postcode. On the Royal Mail website there is a very useful postcode and address finder function. If you need help with an address we will do our best to help but it is ultimately your responsibility to supply us with the correct delivery address.
