Planting scented pinks at Churchtown Farm - November 2016
This week we have been mostly...planting pinks!
We usually keep our pinks plants for between 18 months to 2 years after which time they begin to reach the end of their useful life. So that nothing goes to waste, the coir in which they are grown is emptied onto our narcissi fields to help add a few nutrients back into the soil. Believe it or not the little baby pinks that we are planting now will be ready for picking this coming summer!
